In Sanjiangyuan, Qinghai, Dianming helped to uprade the quality and safety of the tunnels in the Yushu highway networks

Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwest of Qinghai Province, with an average altitude of 4,490 meters. It is located at the source of three rivers. It is known as the "Chinese Water Tower" and has given birth to the great Chinese civilization. At 7:49 on April 14, 2010, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.1 occurred in Yushu area of Qinghai Province, causing serious losses to people's lives and property. On June 9, the State Council issued the "Yushu Earthquake Post-Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction Master Plan."
The construction of Yushu highway network is an important livelihood project for Yushu's post-disaster reconstruction. Emergency repair and restoration of infrastructure and accelerating the smooth flow of post-disaster reconstruction lifelines are the basis for other post-disaster reconstruction projects. Yushu's post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction has created "Yushu Speed" and "Yushu Miracles" one after another. Among them, the Changlashan Tunnel, which was completed and opened to traffic in November 2015, has a total length of 2,400 meters and an altitude of 4,500 meters. When it was first completed, it was the highest highway tunnel in the world. After the Changla Mountain Tunnel was opened to traffic, the natural chasm became a thoroughfare. Vehicles passing by would no longer be walking between cliffs or on top of the towering snow-capped mountains. It only takes about 3 minutes to pass through the tunnel. The distance of the life corridor from Zaduo to Yushu is reduced by 16 kilometers, which saves about one hour of vehicle travel, and the safety factor is greatly improved.
At the beginning of construction, because the local power supply in Yushu Prefecture was not integrated into the State Grid Corporation of China and the power supply was tight, the power supply for the electromechanical and lighting facilities in the tunnel sections, bridge sections and some highway sections of the Yushu road network was not included in the design, which brought great security risks to the travel safety of local people. On December 19, 2021, the lighting system renovation project of the Changlashan, Lagengla, and Lancangjiang tunnels on Qinghai's Yushu highway network was successfully completed, marking the complete end of the history of high-altitude national and provincial trunk highway tunnels without lighting in Qinghai Province.
